{"id":1575,"date":"2024-10-22T10:58:24","date_gmt":"2024-10-22T09:58:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/velopark.se\/fieldwork\/"},"modified":"2024-12-06T14:56:44","modified_gmt":"2024-12-06T13:56:44","slug":"fieldwork","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.velopark.se\/en\/fieldwork\/","title":{"rendered":"Ground Work"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n<h1>Groundwork and fixing of modules<\/h1>\n<p>Velopark modules can be mounted freestanding, semi-permanent or permanently to the substrate depending on your needs.<\/p>\n\t<p><strong>For best durability over time, we recommend that Velopark bicycle playgrounds are built according to the construction standard in Mark-AMA from Svensk Byggtj\u00e4nst corresponding to &#8220;graveled G \/ C road in a park environment&#8221;. The Velopark modules are then fixed to cast concrete slabs that rest on the substructure. If extra fall protection is required, this is added after the modules have been installed.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\t<p>When the modules are mounted on a hard surface, rubber washers should always be used closest to the ground, both to compensate for minor deviations in the substrate and to keep the bases free from mechanical abrasion. When all the modules are assembled, the concrete slab is covered with stone dust, bark or similar so that the screw is also hidden.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Permanent fixing of modules on paved surface<\/h2>\n<p>Velopark modules can be placed and fixed directly to the paved surface.<\/p>\n\t<p><strong>Direct mounting with self-drilling screw<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the asphalt is even, the module is attached directly with a self-drilling asphalt screw.
